Knoxville, God Has Not Forgotten

Knoxville, God has not forgotten you. There are fires all across the region, many small groups, many disconnected, many disillusioned with church as they’ve known it. There are many pockets of people on fire for God, refusing to bow the knee of conformity to man-made church commercialism. There are many outcasts, hidden in caves, waiting for a sign that God is at work in the land again.

But that is all about to change. Something is stirring. There is a new window opening. I literally see a window opening and a fresh breeze blowing in. There has been a mantle for revival in the east TN region, a third great awakening, that is meant to affect the entire nation that has passed through several ministries over the last 20 years. But they have all turned aside from God’s direction. They laid down the opportunity they carried for one selfish reason or another. I recently had a vision of “gate keepers” in the region who were having to give over the keys they held. I saw some redeemed, repositioned, and restored when they handed over their keys with a humbled heart. But I also saw others fall into self pity, frustration, and anger.

I have felt strongly that God is not moving that mantle to another church or single leader, but to a people. There is an underground coming together with leaders who are truly undergirding and supporting the body of Christ, pursuing the greater purpose of the Kingdom. Like me, they are leaders wearing scars and God has not allowed them to leave the region yet. God is pulling us together and something is about happen. It feels like a powder keg in the spirit. We’re about to see breakthrough in this region. We’re about to see something that many have seen in their heart, but in a way that few expected.

  1. Sunday was a wonderful time in The Spirit. The Judas msg was so good. Yesterday I listened to a msg about the Judas spirit by Kris Vallaton! I heard it n 2 places in 1 week. Must be important. Thanks for what you do Jeremy.
