Christians Who Have Gone The Way Of Cain

by

Seasons have shifted—yesterday is done and tomorrow is coming faster than you think. Many of you have felt like you’ve been on hold, but now you need to be on alert. Things will suddenly be falling into your lap. Yet at the same time, I believe there will be a separation between those who are offering all to God on God’s terms and those who are trying to please God on their own terms. I see a scattering of those who have fallen out of the favor of God because of their own selfish demands.

All day today, the Lord has been speaking to me about “christians who have gone the way of Cain.” Along with hearing that phrase, I keep seeing scattering people. I believe it speaks of those who have become character assassins of those who have the favor of the Lord. Cain killed his brother after he fell out of the favor of God because he wanted to deal with God on his own terms in his own timing.

“In the course of time Cain brought to the Lord an offering of the fruit of the ground, and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering, but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell. The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.” (Genesis 4:3-7 ESVST)

Deal with God on His terms and expect a landslide of fulfillment of the things that God has shown you!
