Sometimes God Will No Longer Speak

God would no longer speak to Saul through dreams, through the priests, or through the prophets because he stubbornly followed the way that he thought seemed right, disobeying the word of the Lord delivered by the prophet Samuel. God will send prophets to leaders who need to follow God’s direction, but it’s up to the leader to choose to follow. If they do not follow, you don’t need to take it as a personal rejection because God takes it to heart. It’s also not your responsibility as a prophet to make anyone comply with what you see or hear. You speak the word that God gives you to release and nothing more. God has a way of dealing with kings and leaders who do not listen to those who hear.

“And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD did not answer him, either by dreams, or by Urim, or by prophets.” 1 Samuel 28:6
