Over the past few weeks I keep hearing the Lord say: MAKE MOVES, START SOMETHING, GET INTO SITUATIONS AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. God is looking for people in motion.
“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21 ESV
It’s time to start something, even if you don’t have it all figured out yet. Start doing something. Try something. Do something different. Stir something up. Get yourself into a situation and trust that God has His eye on you. It’s time to concern yourself more with action than with answers.
Obviously, I’m talking about starting something good and God-approved in general. But, I am not (necessarily or primarily) talking “church” activities. I’m talking about doing things that are on your heart to do—things that God is putting on your heart, whether you’ve realized it or not. It’s time to stop analyzing it and to just start doing it, or something close to it. Just start!
As you make moves, know that God will give you confirmation when you’re headed in the right direction. God guides those in motion. Until then, God’s word is simply, “therefore go” (Matt 28:19) and “go ye!” (Mark 16:15). Look for the “yes,” “approval,” or the peace of God as you go. But if you don’t sense it, keep making moves, asking God for direction. Whatever you do… MAKE MOVES.
Get Into Situations
If you will get into situations, God will surprise you with the things He will do through you and around you. Watch and see what happens! God is with you. He knows you. He’s watching you. God’s especially looking for those who will dare to try—to get into situations. He’s searching for those who will jump in faith and run ahead without being stopped by the worry of what might be ahead and around the bend. Just run and see what happens.
