When we are controlled by anger, we demand things from others while disregarding the nature of love (1Co 13). Until we are controlled by love, we will never understand divine anger that is not selfish and does not sin. Therefore, it’s best to put away wrath, rage, and anger as the Bible counsels us to do (Col 3:8; Eph 4:31; Pro 37:8; Pro 22:24-25). Let us learn to allow the love of Christ to control us and lay ourselves down for others instead of making demands (2Co 5:14-15).
